The AlmaCrawler Commitment to Strong Governance ESG
At AlmaCrawler, our commitment to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles is a cornerstone of our corporate strategy.
We recognize that effective governance is essential for building a sustainable and resilient organization.
To this end, we have implemented a series of governance measures that reflect our dedication to transparency, accountability, and ethical management.
One of the key governance practices at AlmaCrawler is the adoption of the Legislative Decree 231/2001 Organisational Model. This model provides a robust framework for the management and control of our operations, ensuring that we comply with relevant laws and regulations. By implementing this model, we aim to prevent misconduct and promote a culture of integrity throughout the company.
In addition to this, we have established a comprehensive Reporting Mechanism that allows our employees and stakeholders to report any instances of misconduct or violations of company policies. This mechanism is designed to promote an ethical and safe working environment, encouraging open communication and ensuring that any issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
Furthermore, our Code of Ethics serves as a guiding document for all employees, outlining the ethical standards and behaviors expected in the management of the company. This code not only reinforces our commitment to ethical business practices but also ensures that our actions are aligned with our core values.
Through these initiatives, AlmaCrawler demonstrates a strong commitment to transparent and accountable governance. We believe that by upholding these standards, we can build trust with our stakeholders and ensure the long-term sustainability of our business.
As we continue to grow, we remain dedicated to enhancing our governance practices, ensuring that AlmaCrawler operates with the highest levels of integrity and responsibility.
Governance: Understanding its importance and best practices
Governance, the “G” in ESG, refers to the framework of rules, practices, and processes by which a company is directed and controlled.
It encompasses everything from corporate ethics to leadership structure, ensuring that a company operates transparently and responsibly.
Good governance is crucial for any business aiming for long-term sustainability and success, as it builds trust with stakeholders, mitigates risks, and aligns the company’s operations with ethical standards.
Governance is essential because it underpins the integrity of the company. Effective governance practices reduce the likelihood of corporate scandals, legal issues, and financial mismanagement. Moreover, governance fosters a culture of accountability, ensuring that the interests of shareholders, employees, and the broader community are safeguarded.
Common best practices for corporate governance include:
- Alignment with strategic objectives: Effective governance ensures that the company’s objectives are clearly defined and aligned with stakeholder expectations. This requires clear and transparent communication between the board, management and investors to ensure that strategic decisions support long-term sustainable growth.
- Transparency and Reporting: Companies should maintain transparent reporting practices, providing accurate information to stakeholders.
- Ethical Leadership and Codes of Conduct: Companies should establish a clear code of ethics that governs behavior within the organization. Leadership should exemplify these ethical standards, setting the tone at the top.
As the business landscape continues to evolve, companies must prioritize governance within their ESG strategies.
By adopting best practices in governance, companies can enhance their reputation, ensure compliance, and achieve sustainable growth.
Looking ahead: Our ESG commitment
As we reflect on the significant strides we made last year in reducing our greenhouse gas emissions and enhancing our sustainability practices, AlmaCrawler remains dedicated to building on these achievements in the years ahead.
Our recent successes have laid a strong foundation, and we are committed to ensuring that our sustainability journey continues in a positive and impactful direction.
While our accomplishments are a source of pride, we recognize that the path to sustainability is an ongoing one. We are focused on consolidating the gains we made in reducing energy intensity, greenhouse gas emissions, and overall energy consumption. At the same time, we aim to explore new opportunities for improvement, driven by our commitment to environmental stewardship and operational excellence.
In the coming year, we plan to closely monitor our energy usage and emissions, seeking further efficiencies where possible. We are committed to evaluating and refining our processes, with the goal of enhancing our performance and reducing our environmental impact even further. This will involve ongoing collaboration across all levels of our organization, as we continue to engage our employees in our sustainability initiatives.
We remain cautiously optimistic about our ability to meet future challenges and are committed to adapting our strategies as needed to achieve our long-term ESG goals.
At AlmaCrawler, we look forward to continuing our work towards a more sustainable future. Together, we can build on our successes and contribute to a better world for generations to come.

What is ESG and why does it matter?
In today’s business landscape, the term ESG—short for Environmental, Social, and Governance—has become increasingly prominent. But what exactly does ESG mean, and why is it important for companies to pay attention to it?
ESG refers to the three central factors in measuring the sustainability and societal impact of a company. Environmental criteria examine how a company performs as a steward of the natural environment, focusing on energy use, waste management, and greenhouse gas emissions. Social criteria look at how the company manages relationships with employees, suppliers, customers, and communities. Governance involves the company’s leadership, executive pay, audits, internal controls, and shareholder rights.
Incorporating ESG principles is no longer a mere option for companies; it is a critical aspect of long-term success. Consumers and investors alike are increasingly concerned with how businesses impact the world around them. Companies that prioritize ESG are seen as more resilient and better positioned to navigate risks, making them more attractive to stakeholders.
In conclusion, ESG is essential for companies today because it fosters sustainability, mitigates risks, and builds trust with stakeholders. By adopting ESG strategies, businesses can achieve long-term success while contributing positively to society and the environment.

Renewal of SIM connectivity
The first 24 months of data SIM usage are included with the purchasing of the machine, unless otherwise agreed at the time of purchase.
At the end of this period, in order to continue using the features requiring a data connection, a renewal is offered.
The renewal gives access to advanced machine monitoring and management functions and ensures that the MyAlmac telemetry system can continue to receive and send data to the MyAlmac portal. The renewal procedure provides that, 90 days before the expiry date, the customer (and if applicable, the national dealer) will receive a notification email every 15 days (in total 5 notifications) to inform them of the expiry of the SIM connectivity. If the customer does not wish to renew, the SIM will be deactivated at the end of the validity period and can be reactivated at a later date by purchasing an extension of at least 24 months or more.

- Recharge every 2-3 weeks if your PRiMO aerial platform remains idle for extended periods without disconnecting the Power Pack.
- Ensure a minimum 50% charge before disconnecting the Power Pack or the charger when there’s no AC grid power available.
- When disconnecting from the aerial platforms’s electrical system, maintain at least a 50% state of charge (SoC) and recharge every 5-6 weeks.
2. POWER PACK STORAGE
If the machine is in storage or used infrequently, disconnect the Power Pack cable to eliminate drain from electrical equipment. For extended storage (eight / ten months) charge to 100% before reuse. This charging can last for 5/7 days due to the long period of stop.
Make sure Power Packs are stored out of reach of children.
For optimal performance and safety of your Power Pack, always use the charger specifically supplied with your unit. Avoid using battery maintainers, battery tenders, fast chargers, or any other similar devices, as these are not compatible with our Power Packs. Do not charge the battery beyond the maximum voltage indicated.
Regularly inspect the external terminals and metal case of your Power Pack for any signs of damage or abnormal wear that may have occurred during use. If you notice anything unusual or have any concerns about the condition of your Power Pack, do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service team for assistance.
For your safety, never remove the Power Pack cap, or cut or drill into the Power Pack case, as doing so is extremely dangerous and can cause a short circuit.
Additionally, do not wash or submerge the Power Pack in water or any other conductive liquid, as this also poses a serious risk of short-circuiting.
3. SAFETY
3.1 Proper Clothing
When handling your Power Pack, always wear a face shield or safety goggles to protect yourself. Remove any bracelets, rings, or necklaces, as these items could accidentally cause a short circuit.
3.2 Power Pack Recharge
To ensure safety, do not smoke or create sparks or flames near the Power Pack or its chargers, as this can lead to explosions.
Always adhere to the charging current values recommended in the User Manual. Charging at higher currents can damage the Power Pack and may result in explosions or fire. Remember to turn off the charger before removing the charger clamp to avoid sparks.
3.3 Connection Guidelines
Never connect more than one Power Pack to the machine’s electrical system. Do not connect Power Packs in series or parallel, as this is unsafe and not recommended.
3.4 Best Practices
For optimal performance, use the Power Pack on a daily or weekly basis. When the machine is not in use, keep the Power Pack under charge with the onboard charger. If the onboard Human Machine Interface (HMI) indicates a low state of charge, immediately charge the Power Pack to prevent deep discharge.
Additionally, always leave the Power Pack under charge with the onboard charger during weekends. This practice allows for periodic balancing and ensures the battery’s longevity.
4. SPECIAL WARNINGS
4.1 Interchangeability and Safety of Lithium Power Packs
Our Lithium Power Packs are designed to offer complete interchangeability with Lead Acid Power Packs, thanks to integrated electronics that eliminate the need for additional modifications to your vehicle’s electrical system or alternator.
Important Guidelines for Safe Use

- Customer Support: Should you have any questions or encounter issues, our dedicated Customer Service team is ready to assist you.
- High Performance with Safety: Lithium Power Packs are equipped with advanced technology cells that deliver exceptional performance while maintaining intrinsic safety features. However, it’s crucial to note that improper use can lead to serious issues such as fires or explosions. Always handle and operate these Power Packs with caution.
- Environmental Considerations: To prevent potential hazards, avoid exposing the Power Pack to heat, fire, or microwaves. Direct sunlight should also be avoided, especially when ambient temperatures exceed 60°C, as this can pose a risk of explosion. Additionally, refrain from storing metallic objects inside the Power Pack trunk or alongside other batteries, as this may cause a short circuit.
- Safety Around Children: Ensure the Power Pack is always kept out of reach of children to prevent accidents and ensure their safety.
By following these guidelines, you can maximize the efficiency, lifespan, and safety of your Lithium Power Packs, ensuring they continue to perform at their best while maintaining a secure environment for all users.
