Among the machines of the innovative BT LINE series by AlmaCrawler, which offer the market a new concept of aerial platforms born from the association in a single product of the peculiar characteristics of the self-propelled wheeled aerial platforms and of the stabilized tracked aerial platforms renamed Spiderboom, is available the B1890 VISUAL EVO platform.

The B1890 VISUAL EVO is a platform that allows operators to reach a height of 18 metres, an outreach of 8.1 metres and a maximum load capacity in the basket of 250 kg.

With a boom rotation angle of 185°, the platform is powered by a YANMAR 2TNV70 10.2 kW (13.9 HP) diesel engine and features innovative technological features studied and designed by AlmaCrawler:

  • SPS (Self-Propelled Skilled System), a system for using the platform without the use of outriggers on longitudinal slopes of up to 10° and lateral slopes of up to 5° in complete safety;
  • ATS (Automatic Tensioner System), hydraulic track tensioning system Hydraulic tensioning system;
  • AWP (Adaptive Working Performance), outreach performance technology based on instantaneous verification of the effective stabilisation area.

The Spiderboom B1890 VISUAL EVO is not only innovative in terms of technology, but also in terms of the functional features used by AlmaCrawler in its development:

  • Tasket Basket: resizable basket in order to cross the narrowest spaces;
  • Possibility of using the winch kit to lift and/or move loads of up to 200 kg;
  • Variable track width 0.79 ÷ 1.39 m and length of the undercarriage over 2 m designed to increase safety during loading/unloading or platform movement operations, while keeping the platform compact.

SPS

The SPS system is what allows the use of the Billennium Spiderbooms even without lowering the stabilizers, levelling longitudinally up to a maximum of 10° with a maximum working height of 8 m for the B1570 and 9 m for the B1890 (max lateral slope 5°).

AWP

This system calculates the stabilization area in real time by measuring the angle of descend of each individual stabiliser in order to optimise the operational outreach performance over the entire working area up to an extra 0.5 m.
