AlmaCrawler is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Robertson as the new Country Manager for the UK market.
In this role, he will be responsible for the commercial growth of our UK subsidiary Almac Atlantic, and will be working closely with AlmaCrawler’s existing distributors Cumberland Platforms Ltd and G.G.R. Group to drive growth and increase market share.
Oana Samoila, AlmaCrawler Key Accounts Sales Manager and currently responsible for the UK market said: “With 10+ years of experience in sales and a proven track record of achieving impressive results in our industry, Dan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our organization. He has a deep understanding of the UK market dynamics and a strong network of relationships with key players in the industry, which will be instrumental in driving our sales efforts and supporting our partners as we keep growing.”

Dan Robertson’s primary focus will be to handle several major national rental companies. He will also be responsible for fostering the creation of new business relationships, aiming to strengthen our distribution channels, expand our market reach, and ensure our direct key account rental customers and distributors receive the highest level of service and support.
He will also be working on consolidating AlmaCrawler’s presence in the UK in the next few years through the creation of a national after-sales team.

Iniziativa realizzata nell’ambito dell’ Asse prioritario III – Promuovere la competitività delle piccole e medie imprese.
Azione III.3.b.1.2 – Creazione di occasioni di incontro tra imprenditori italiani ed esteri finalizzati ad attrarre investimenti e a promuovere accordi commerciali e altre iniziative attive di informazione e promozione rivolte a potenziali investitori esteri.
Obiettivo: Svolgere attività di sviluppo e ricerca atte a migliorare la versatilità, semplicità d’utilizzo e sicurezza delle piattaforme aeree.
Il progetto parte con la creazione di una strategia comunicativa per informare clienti, potenziali clienti e fornitori della presenza dell’azienda alla fiera tramite i canali Social e la Newsletter. La partecipazione alla fiera dal 23/02/2022 al 25/02/2022 permetterà all’azienda di sottoporre i prodotti ad un pubblico ampio ed eterogeneo, aumentando di conseguenza la possibilità di trovare nuovi lead interessati alle mini piattaforme aeree cingolate. Saranno presentati ai visitatori dello stand volantini, brochure, gadget nonché i prodotti stessi. Il personale presente accoglierà i clienti, presenterà azienda e prodotti e risponderà alle richieste. Infine, una fase fondamentale sarà quella successiva di follow-up dei contatti, in cui si prevede di sviluppare nuove opportunità di business.

AlmaCrawler at GIS EXPO Piacenza at Stand F11
AlmaCrawler returns to Piacenza GIS EXPO from 7 to 9 October
This event will be an important opportunity for us to meet all our customers following a long period when it was difficult to see each other live.
Over the past year we have worked to present new products and new technologies to the market: starting with the aluminum boom Jibbi U-1570, the result of our collaboration with Multitel Pagliero; the launch of the innovative AlmaCrawler line of stabilized tracked boom lifts – the Billennium range and finally the “small” but powerful full-electric tracked carrier to be added to the Multi-Loader line – the ML 3.0 FX.
The Jibbi U-1570 is a self-propelled tracked boom lift with a working height of 15.4m, a maximum outreach of 9.65m and, due to the patented AlmaCrawler Dynamic and Pro-Active Leveling systems, is able to travel and work on slopes up to 15° longitudinal and lateral. The aluminum boom allows the platform to remain extremely light (it weighs only 2,895 kg), a feature that makes the Jibbi U-1570 easily transportable with a standard trailer and particularly suitable for working in applications that require low ground pressure.
The Billennium series has two variations on the stabilization system: the fixed stabilization, Visual, and the variable stabilization, the Quick-Pro. With working heights of 15 and 18 meters, respectively the B1570 and the B1890 – it can cater to a wide range of operator needs.
In addition, the Billennium Spiderbooms introduce a series of innovations in the access industry: sensors on the stabilizers to “read” the true position of the machine (AWP) in real time, the fully automated stabilization, the possibility of using the platform at height without the use of stabilizers (SPS) even on longitudinal slopes up to 10°. These innovations led AlmaCrawler to request two new patents in 2021.
The second novelty that you will see at the fair is the Multi-Loader 3.0 FX, the only compact tracked carrier capable of carrying up to 3,000 kg, fully electric and with electric drive, with a removable battery pack as standard, a maximum speed of 4.2km/h, and finally the standard swivel platform with telescopic extensions at the four corners.
The ML 3.0 FX has a maximum width of 79cm, for a length of 1.6m, features that allows this transporter to move easily within small spaces.

Alfa Access Services is the new UK partner of AlmaCrawler
AlmaCrawler appoints Alfa Access Services as its official service partner for the UK.
Following a series of virtual negotiations, AlmaCrawler and Alfa Access Services have reached an agreement, both confident that the partnership will be able to offer British customers a higher standard of services.
Based in Nottinghamshire, Alfa Access Services specialises in the service, repair, training, LOLER Inspection (Thorough Examination) on a wide range of powered access platforms and lifting equipment throughout the UK.
Commenting on the new partnership with AlmaCrawler’s UK subsidiary Almac Atlantic based in Cambridgeshire, director for Alfa Access Services, Allen Freeman said the following: “The whole team at Alfa Access Services Ltd are extremely proud and excited about another high-quality manufacturer choosing Alfa as their service partner within the UK. Training over Zoom has already taken place and Covid permitting, face to face training will happen soon. We look forward to a great relationship in our supporting role with Almac Atlantic Ltd.”

AlmaCrawler setzt Ihrem Unternehmensgeist keine Grenzen!
Weltweit anerkannt für ihre innovativen, vielseitigen und sich ergänzenden Produktreihen, die sich durch hohe Sicherheitsstandards auszeichnen und selbst den anspruchsvollsten Anforderungen im täglichen Betrieb gerecht werden, präsentierte man am Vortag des achten Jahrestags die BILLENNIUM Baureihe.
Die neue BILLENNIUM-Baureihe führt eine neue Familie von selbstfahrenden Raupenarbeitsbühnen auf dem Markt ein, die Spiderboom die traditionellen Konstruktionsansätze hinter sich lassen. Der Wunsch, die charakteristischen Merkmale von selbstfahrenden Hubarbeitsbühnen auf Rädern und von stabilisierten Raupenarbeitsbühnen in einem einzigen Produkt zu vereinen, hat AlmaCrawler dazu veranlasst, diese neue Produktreihe zu entwickeln, um ein morphologisch einzigartiges Produkt anzubieten, das eine einfachere User Experience und eine höhere Anpassungsfähigkeit bei der Anwendung ermöglicht, im Dienste des professionellen Betreibers und des Verleihsektors.
Zunächst werden zwei Modelle angeboten, B1570 und B1890 mit Arbeitshöhen von 15 bzw. 18 m und zwei verschiedenen automatischen Stabilisierungsarten, fest (VISUAL) oder variabel (QUICK-PRO). Es stehen drei Antriebsvarianten zur Verfügung: endothermisch mit Benzin (ETS-Version), endothermisch mit Diesel (EVO-Version) und vollelektrisch mit Lithium (LTH-Version).
Alle Ausführungen behalten die typischen Merkmale der Kompaktheit (Mindestbreite 0,78 m) und des Höchstgewichts (2600÷2900 kg) bei, um die vollständige Transportfähigkeit auf herkömmlichen Anhängern / Trailern zu gewährleisten.
In Bezug auf die Leistung bieten die BILLENNIUM-Modelle, dank der Implementierung neuer hochtechnologischer und innovativer Merkmale im reinen AlmaCrawler-Stil, je nach Modell eine Reichweite von 10 bzw. 11 Metern und eine maximale Tragfähigkeit im Korb von 230 bzw. 250 kg, wie z. B.:
- SPS (Self-Propelled Skilled System) – Neues, zum Patent angemeldetes System, das den Einsatz der Hubarbeitsbühne, bei Längsneigungen bis zu 10° und Querneigungen bis zu 5°, auch ohne die Verwendung der Stabilisatoren ermöglicht. Dank der fortschrittlichen Steuerungs- und Nivellierungssysteme der Maschine kann die Plattform sicher bis zu einer Arbeitshöhe von 9 m eingesetzt werden.
- AWP (Adaptive Working Performance) – Neues, zum Patent angemeldetes System zur Optimierung der seitlichen Reichweite auf Basis einer sofortigen Überprüfung des effektiven Stabilisierungsbereichs.
- Automatische Stabilisierung – Alle Modelle der BILLENNIUM Baureihe sind serienmäßig mit einem automatischen Stabilisierungssystem ausgestattet. Es stehen zwei Typologien zur Auswahl:
- VISUAL – Automatische Stabilisierung des festen Bereichs;
- Quick-PRO – Automatische variable Bereichsstabilisierung, die 6 verschiedene Maschinenpositionierungskonfigurationen bietet, die einfach über einen speziellen Wahlschalter ausgewählt werden können; durch die automatische Interaktion mit dem AWP-System garantiert sie dem Bediener die bestmögliche Reichweite;
- Undercarriage XXL – Speziell entwickelt, um die Sicherheit beim täglichen Be- und Entladen sowie bei der Bewegung der Plattform zu erhöhen, wobei die typischen Merkmale der Kompaktheit (variable Spurbreite 0,79÷1,39 m und Unterwagenlänge über 2 m) beibehalten werden.
- ATS (Automatic Tensioner System) – Einzigartiges “ZERO MAINTENANCE”-Hydrauliksystem zum automatischen Spannen der Raupen.
- TASKET BASKET – Einziehbarer Korb, der nicht demontiert werden muss, um enge Passagen zu durchfahren, wobei die Mindestbreite der Hubarbeitsbühne (0,79 m) eingehalten wird und die bequeme Nutzung durch zwei Bediener gewährleistet ist.
- WINDE – Auch an der Billennium Baureihe kann man die traditionelle AlmaCrawler Winde zum Heben und/oder Bewegen von Lasten bis zu 200 kg verwenden (WINCH KIT SERIE 200).
