ALMAC S.p.A. announces the acquisition of PLAS S.r.l. and the expansion of its skills in the field of metalworking and precision machining
We are pleased to announce that ALMAC, as part of its growth and development strategy, has acquired PLAS, a historical company operating in the specialized metalworking sector and offering tailor-made solutions. This strategic operation marks a fundamental step in our expansion in the market and the diversification of our production capabilities.
Founded in 1966, PLAS has established itself as a benchmark for the quality of its work and for its high attention to detail, collaborating with prestigious clients on projects of varying complexity. Its distinctive skills, combined with a long tradition in the industry, represent a significant added value for our group, which aims to become an even more complete partner for its clients.
The acquisition of PLAS is not just an expansion of our offerings, but a strategic integration of competencies that will allow us to provide more advanced and customized solutions, better responding to the needs of a constantly evolving market. Thanks to this union, our group will be able to operate with greater flexibility and speed, increasing production capacity and enhancing the quality of our products and services.
Andrea Artoni, CEO of Almac, comments: “This acquisition will further enhance our ability to meet the requests of our current clients and to reach new market segments. We are committed to ensuring that the transition occurs with operational continuity, maintaining the high-quality standards and customer service on which both companies have built their reputation. We are excited to explore the new opportunities that this partnership will bring and are convinced that the union of two such complementary realities represents a solid foundation to face the future challenges of the sector.”
Alongside Wise Equity, which entered ALMAC’s capital at the end of 2022 through the Wisequity V fund, the group intends to continue the development path initiated with its foundation in 2013, both through organic growth, thanks to the launch of innovative products and the penetration of new geographies, and through strategic acquisitions.
